The Department of English Language and Literature at Dongguk University in Gyeongju invites one native speaker of English for an assistant-level foreign faculty position in general English linguistics or English literature, beginning on March 1, 2014. This is a non-tenure track full time position, and contracts will be renewed every year based on class evaluations. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all levels of undergraduate courses and MA-level graduate courses. Position Type: Full-Time Faculty- Year to Year Contract
Salary: 30 – 33 Million Korean Won Yearly + Yearly Raises+ Bonuses

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Teach conversational English and grammar
•Teach nine to ten 90 minute classes per week
•Evaluate and measure students performance through examination
•Plan and organize instructional materials to meet course objectives
•Participate in a variety of Departmental, Campus and College-wide programs, activities and department meetings
•Prepare and submit student grades and evaluations to the Administration Department and the Department of General Studies
•Perform other duties as assigned
