Full Details
School: SeongNam English Town (SNET)
Location: Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week.
We have 2 shift schedules (on a 4 week volunteer rotation):
- Monday to Friday 8.30 am- 5.30 pm
- Tuesday- Friday 8.30-5.30, & Saturday- 9 am- 5 pm
*Sunday and Mondays off for the 4 week shift cycle.
*Evening Events: 8 shifts per 4 week shift cycle- 6.45-8.20pm
*Saturday programs running 2nd and 4th Saturday in each month (4 weeks), 1st and 3rd Saturdays off.
Salary: Based on experience (ESL):
- Less than 1 year: 2.16 million Won/month
- More than 1 year or Masters degree: 2.3 million Won per month.
Class size: 10-15.
Age group: 11-12 (6th grade)
Classes: 22 situational classes on practical English usage (examples: cooking, science, photo studio, music, etc.).
Vacation:
6 month contracts: 2 weeks paid vacation - 1 week predetermined (Chuseok or Seolnal), 1 week chosen by employee; 3 paid sick days.
12 month contracts: 4 weeks paid vacation - 2 weeks predetermined (Chuseok and Seolnal), 2 weeks chosen by employee; 6 paid sick days.
Flights: Return 12 month contract, one way for 6 month contract.
Orientation: 1 week paid.
Meals: 3/day during work days
Over Time: Voluntary. 20,000 Won per hour, Saturdays 150,000 Won/ day, and Sundays, 200,000 Won/ day.
Living Space: Communal environment, maximum 2 teachers sharing a dormitory style room with a private shared bathroom.
