What I want: A teacher! A teacher with a superior command of English grammar that understands that teaching is the hardest and most rewarding occupation. A teacher whose credo is comprises of patience, pride, energy, responsibility, ownership, accountability, ethics, and will never let the buggers get them down. A teacher that comprehends the absolute importance of the details in everything placed on the whiteboard, checked, or assigned. I have operated this academy and have had some great teachers and I have let teachers go because they think that speaking English makes them qualified to teach. It does not! Can you explain how to use a “be verb”, how to use articles, when some changes to any, the difference between a helping verb and main verb. If you are up to the challenge let’s talk. You must come to Ulsan for an interview and be ready to teach me how to use a comma with FAN BOYS, and the difference between a mass noun, countable or uncountable noun. That is right, just because you speak English does not make you a teacher!
