Position:
Part-time English instructor beginning Aug. 26th (or as soon as possible thereafter).
Depending on Fall '13 performance, there is the possibility of being hired as a full time lecturer for Spring '14.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of ESL instruction. Experience with Russian L1 speakers preferred. Business experience and Business English ESL experience an asset.
Must be able to design lessons within established guidelines and enjoy team work. Duties to range from classroom instruction to student counselling.
Applicants will need an F4 or F6 visa, or will need to have the approval of their current institution for an add on to an existing E2 or E1 visa.
Workload:
2-3 courses during Fall '13.
Each course requires 3 hours of classroom instruction per week.
Compensation:
Part-time instructors earn 25,000 won per hour of in-class instruction.
Full time lecturers earn 30 million won a year (or more, depending on qualifications and class load), with housing.
