TESOL REVIEW is a peer-reviewed journal published by the DHU TESOL Program at Daegu Haany University in South Korea. We are extending the deadline for article submissions for our 2012 issue to September 30.
TESOL REVIEW publishes original articles and book reviews in the research and practice of English as a second or foreign language. TESOL REVIEW welcomes articles on EFL pedagogy, second language acquisition, language assessment, teaching techniques, applied socio and psycholinguistics, and other related areas.
Articles should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document to the editor-in-chief, Prof. Scott Miles (email: tesol@dhu.ac.kr) as an email attachment.

MA TESOL Program at Daegu Haany University
Administered by the Department of English & TESOL, Daegu Haany University, the Master of Arts degree program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) aims to provide quality TESOL education to in-service and pre-service teachers of English in Daegu (South Korea) and regional communities. The program prepares students to be a competent English teacher in the 21st century classroom, which requires a sound theoretical foundation for second language acquisition and learning, practical teaching experience, and knowledge of up-to-date educational technology.
Classes in the program cover second language acquisition theory, instructional methodologies, materials development, pedagogical approaches to second language writing, reading, speaking, listening, and grammar, computer assisted language learning, teaching English to children, and practicum. Classes are held on weekends during the fall and spring semester.
The MA program requires over 24 credit hours of course work, and is typically completed in 5 semesters for the thesis option, and one additional semester for the non-thesis option. All accepted students receive scholarships for financial assistance.
