[Non-tenure Track Full-time Positions at Kyonggi University : Suwon, South Korea

Kyonggi university is seeking experienced, committed and qualified instructors to teach english from April 1, 2015
[QUALIFICATIONS]
– Native English Speakers
– Doctor’s Degree + one year of full time college / university teaching experience or
Master‘s Degree + two years of full time college / university teaching experience
– Degree in Education, English or TESOL, TEFL certificated preferred.
– Applicants must be eligible for appointment according to Private
University Faculty Appointment Regulations.
* Part-time teaching and lifelong education teaching experiences are not considered.
[EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS & BENEFITS]
– Position : Assistant professor(E-1)
– A two-year contract with possible extension upon evaluation
– Duty hours : Teach 15 hours of credit courses per week during academic semester
(In case of teaching one or more credit hours of major courses,
required teaching hours are 12 hours per week.)
*Duty hours are not applied to the First semester of the newly employed Instructor.
– Work place: Basically Suwon Campus. (Seoul Campus for some)
– 8 weeks paid vacation a year (4weeks summer vacation, 4 weeks winter vacation)
– Twelve-month-based salary
– Starting annual salary : 32.4 million won (Housing, etc. all included)
– Subsidized Korea Teachers Pension and medical insurance

– English Conversation
– English Grammar
– English Composition
– English Presentation and additional English electives.
