Assistant Academic Director and Instructors for Hoyah Academy in Gangnam

Hoyah Academy (est. 1999) is a rapidly growing and evolving English instruction academy based out of Seoul. We are looking for driven, team-oriented individuals to fill the following two roles.
1) Assistant Academic Director
2) TOEFL, SSAT, SAT Instructors
The Assistant Academic Director is to start immediately and work until June 7, 2013 with the possibility of a contract extension. This is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week in the mornings and early afternoons. The Assistant Academic Director will work in Hoyah’s Gangnam location.
The Assistant Academic Director will focus on the following responsibilities:
1) Revise, edit, and rewrite existing SSAT and SAT prep textbooks
2) Support the Academic Director in curricular development for the upcoming summer session
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a US institution, preferably with a major in the humanities
2) Experience teaching TOEFL, SSAT, SAT, or any other test prep course
3) Strong writing and editing skills
4) Highly organized; results-oriented
5) Ability to work under minimal supervision

Hoyah is also looking for Instructors for the Summer 2013 semester, starting June 4th and extending to August 17th. Instructors will focus on TOEFL, SSAT, and SAT test-taking skills. However, we also need qualified instructors who can teach pre-calculus, algebra, geometry, world history, US history, chemistry, biology, and novel reading.
Fifty-minute classes will be taught during the day and early evening with weekends open for instructors. Instructors will teach four to six classes per day, with breaks and lunch time between classes. A two-day training period will be offered on June 4th and 5th.
Instructors will either work in our Gangnam branch or our Bundang branch in Jeongja. We are looking for a total of eight instructors.
Instructors should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top US college. Because Hoyah looks only for the most highly qualified candidates, we are one of the best-paying English academies in Seoul.
