International School Teacher Position - Jeonju, Korea

The Global Prodigy Academy in Jeon-ju University is looking for qualified teachers to join from August 1, 2013. Candidates with an M.A. or higher will be highly considered, but the position does not require a completed Master's Degree. Global Prodigy Academy is a college preparatory international high school enrolling 50 students in grades 7 through 12. All classes except foreign language classes are taught in English. The school is staffed by certified native English teachers. The school opened in February 2006. Global Prodigy Academy was accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) in the U.S. 75% of students board in on-campus dormitories, while the rest commute daily.

Job Description
University: Jeonju University (located in Jeonju, Jeonbuk, South Korea)
Department: Global Prodigy Academy
Contract Term: 1-year contract (renewable)
Qualifications: Native English-speaker; Teacher license
Teaching Hours: 20 hours of teaching per week plus three hour sports activity
Salary: 27,000,000~37,000,000 won/year (pay dependent on degree & teaching experience
Extra teaching hours & pay: Overtime payment will be paid for teaching over your regular hours.
Vacation: summer and winter vacation (approximately 8 weeks each)
Health Insurance and Pension Insurance: 50% of each insurance due is paid by the school.
Housing: A studio apartment or a housing allowance of 300,000 won per month during 10months of the year is provided for teachers planning to get their own housing.
