* Our institute is a part of Kangwon National University (KNU) which has 20 colleges with more than 122 departments, students are approximately over 24 thousand.
* It is located in KNU campus, one of the beautiful campuses in Korea ; forested with evergreens, and cultivated gardens decorate throughout.
City information
Chun-Cheon is the city where you can experience both an urban and a rural atmosphere taking only a few minutes by car and is also a very well known city for shooting TV soap operas in Korea.
The Population is about 300,000 and all areas of the city is easy to reach either on foot or by bike.
Job information
International Language Institute in KNU is looking for qualified English teacher who will teach English conversation and grammar class for elementary school children and adults too.
1. Qualifications
* English Native Speaker
* B.A./M.A. degree holder
(more than 1 year of teaching Experience at university required for B.A degree holder,
more than 1 year of teaching Experience at university required for M.A degree holder)
* Applicants with a TESOL degree/certificate at university are preferred.
* Applicants currently living in Korea are preferred.
2. Employment Period
* 1 year (Can be extended in accordance with mutual agreement)
3. Salary
* Minimum 2,100,000won per month (Commensurate with experience and qualifications) : 18 teaching hours/week
* Minimum 2,400,000won per month (Commensurate with experience and qualifications) : 20 teaching hours/week
* Overtime Pay : 20,000 won / hour
4. Severance Pay :
*Section (1) The severance pay(the total amount of the yearly accumulated severance pay) will be paid when the Foreign Full-time Instructor quits the job at ILI.
Section (2) The yearly severance pay, which is accumulated every year, will be the average amount of
the salary for the last three months.
5. Benefits
* Housing ( Partly furnished), Health Insurance, National pension )
6. Working Hours
* 18 ~ 20 teaching hours/week
7. Paid Vacation
* Minimum 4 weeks/year

* September 1, 2013
