The Foreign Language Education Center at Sogang University is hiring part-time instructors to start June of 2013 in Sinchon, Seoul

Qualifications:
1) Applicants must:
a. be native English speakers with F-2, F-4 or F-5 visa; or
b. be Korean-English bilingual speakers with qualifications awarded by a recognised English-medium university.
2) Have an undergraduate degree from an accredited College or University. Applicants with a master’s degree or above and previous teaching experience (in a relevant area - of young learners) are preferred; however, any enthusiastic, energetic and professional applicants who are committed to upholding the tradition of educational excellence at Sogang University are encouraged to apply.
Conditions:
1) Contract Period: June 24 – December 31, 2013
2) Hours: up to 15 hours a week
3) Payment: 32,000 – 36,000 won/hour (or above)
4) Teaching hours: morning, afternoon or evening shifts (or a combination)
5) Location: Sinchon, Seoul (Northwest part of Seoul)
We are looking for qualified teachers in 2 different programs:
1) Teacher training program for young learners – the students in this course are teachers (or those who want to become teachers) looking to gain certification in the instruction of English to young learners (K-12)
2) NEED English & company-sponsored business English courses – we offer a program of monthly general and academic English classes for adults, as well as an intensive Business English course throughout the summer, additionally we are looking for someone with experience teaching IELTS.
