5 Positions in Istanbul, Turkey


We have 5 positions starting in Istanbul, Turkey which require urgent filling.
The positions themselves are based in private schools around Istanbul and are great for experiencing cosmopolitan Turkish culture whilst teaching in a sophisticated working environment. You must be able to be in Istanbul ASAP.The positions themselves are for co-ordinator roles in the schools, which would entail managing curriculum, teachers, substituting for ill teachers, and helping the English department in the schools.
The actual posts are in the following areas of Istanbul:
1) Topkapi - Male, High School
2) Beylikduza - 2x Female, Kindergarten and Primary
3) Silivri - Male, High School
4) Cobancesme - Male/Female - Sub coordinator
The specifications are as follows:
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Position: ESL Teacher
Institution: Kindergarten,Primary, Secondary School & Sub-Coordinator
Wage: 2150 for no experience, 2400 TL per month for 1+ years experience, after tax
Accommodation: Assisted in Finding
Flights: Not Provided
Airport Pick Up: Provided
Hours per week: 25
Children per class: 20-25
Private Tuition: Possible to Organise
Start Date: URGENT - available to teach within 1 week of applying
End Date: June 14th, 2013
Qualifications:
The teacher must have the following:
1) A teaching qualification, such as TEFL/CELTA
2) Experience of 2 years is preferred
3) A university degree is preferred
4) Native English
The cost of living in Istanbul may be kept low, and the city is beautiful (please see images on Google). Saving will be possible, and you will find that eating out and socialising can be inexpensive.
Wage: 2150, 2400 (1 year+ experience), after tax, depending on experience and qualifications.
