Australian-owned English academy needs a dynamic and outgoing teacher and administrative assistant fluent in both Korean and English in Seoul!

We are seeking a teacher and administrative assistant who can work independently to join our small team teaching mostly English grammar and test prep to kindergarten, elementary and middle school-aged children. This will also involve some administration work to assist the manager. The contract is for one year however we are looking for someone who can stay and learn with us LONG TERM.
The successful applicant must:
1. be living in Korea
2. have F4 visa or Korean nationality only for outstanding applicants with excellent English and Korean skills
3. have 2 years’ experience teaching English and some administration skills
4. enjoy teaching children
5. have energy to teach classes and hold their attention
6. be able to plan lessons (including grammar and test preparation) which are interesting and educational
7. able to work as a member of a small team (this quality is highly valued!) and must be flexible and able to adapt to a much more open and less authoritarian style of academy. This means you need to be self-motivated and not require someone watching your every move
Requirements:
1. MUST HAVE KOREAN CITIZENSHIP or F4 visa,
2. experience teaching ESL- CELTA certificate in addition to other TESL/TESL qualifications is highly valued
3. university BS or BA degree
4. must have excellent Korean/English skills.
Job Conditions:
1. 2.1~2.3 million won per month depending on experience/qualifications
2. Location: Seongnae-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul (near Olympic Park)
3. Teaching levels: Kindergarten, elementary (majority), some middle school students
4. Working hours: 12.30pm ~ 9:20pm; Mon/Wed/Fri 2:00pm ~9pm Tues/Thurs,
5. Teaching hours: maximum of 24 hours per week (generally less)
6. Must be able to help out with administrative duties, such as taking payments from parents, roll calls, bus trip supervision, liasing with parents (most of this liasing is done by the head teacher however).
7. One month salary severance pay upon completion of the 12 month contract
8. Minimum 2 weeks paid vacation per year, plus most national holidays. Usually we have about 20 extra days off a year not including weekends.
9. 50% medical expenses 50% national pension plan
