Looking for North American Teachers for January and Late February Start in Anyang

Looking for North American Teachers for January and Late February Start
We are looking for resourceful, trained, and certified teachers from North America. Our school is a
Canadian curriculum based school with a majority of teachers who have obtained Education degrees or
who have at least 2 years experience here in Korea and hold TESOL/CELTA certificates.
We teach a variety of subjects through cross-curricular means. Our Kindergarten program is a stress-
free, theme/play-based program while our elementary program utilizes the same materials found in
Ontario schools with lesson plans developed by Canadian teachers.
We are looking for energetic teachers interested in forwarding their careers through experience in our
school. You will have freedom to work with the curriculum and add your own ideas. We do not teach by
page numbers, we teach through student needs and interest.
Come join our team! We have 20 North American teachers with an equal number of Korean partner
teachers who are there to assist you and partner teach. The director of the school is Canadian born and
trained. We offer single furnishings that are just a short bus ride away from the school in the bustling
but quiet city of Anyang. Anyang is only a 45 minute journey from downtown Seoul, but has a lot to
offer on its own – multiple cinemas, shopping, great Korean food and western options as well – Subway,
Taco Bell, On the Border, and all the usual suspects.
Salaries depend on experience. We offer pension and Korean medical insurance as well.
Please contact us if you are interested and meet the requirements listed below:
- Education trained and/or have previous experience teaching
- North American – (We don’t care about colour of skin, but we care that you are N.A. trained.)
- Forward thinking and energetic. We are looking for teachers who take this job seriously and
treat their classes the same way they would if they were teaching in North America.
- We are interested in seeing teachers build their skills and become better teachers – having a
western principal will help you in that area and give you a great reference upon completion.
