Gyeonggi International School (with CEEB Code 682180) is looking for qualified teachers. GIS is a Christian preparatory academy located in the suburbs of Metropolis Seoul, serving Grade 5 to 12. New positions are offered to qualified teachers in English literature and writing.

*Christian
*Native English fluency
*Bachelor's or higher degree in English, journalism, or creative writing
*Holders of advanced degrees given extra consideration
*Experience in AP and SAT preferred (for high school positions)
*Teaching credentials in relevant areas preferred
*Subjects to teach
*literature, writing, and ESL for secondary (and primary) school students
*Candidates should be able to deal with students with mixed levels of English proficiency, from native to minimal fluency.
*Positions scheduled to start in January

*2+ year commitment preferred
*Compensation and benefits include (total 32 million KRW guaranteed) :
- 31 million KRW per year (or 26 million or more plus housing, whichever preferrable)
- 1 million KRW for relocation expenses
- 4 weeks of paid vacation per year
- Insurance
*required to comply to proctor for the College Board's SAT testing on Saturdays (honoraria to be paid directly by the College Board, separate from and not included in the regular pay). SAT proctoring may coincide with other Saturday duties.
*Any creative educational projects are encouraged, including museum visits, experiments, field trips, etc.
*Successful completion of two years of service will lead to higher-ranking positions, including a head teacher or principal.
