Korea UNESCO Global Peace Village (Icheon English Village) is searching for native English teachers

Korea UNESCO Global Peace Village offers teachers a unique teaching and learning experience. We develop and teach classes designed to demonstrate UNESCO¡¯s core values along with life experience classes such as pharmacy, grocery and cooking - in English. The main themes are culture, peace, and ecology. Here in the village your creativity is rewarded. We welcome new ideas and are always working on updating our curriculum. Day to day, teachers are encouraged to create lesson plans, incorporate relevant activities, and even develop brand new classes. Students come and stay for a week (Monday - Friday), so the village has a camp like atmosphere with activities not confined to the classroom. Knowing and working to our individual strengths is a significant goal within our team. The Peace Village is a joint venture between the Korean National Commission for UNESCO and the Icheon City.
Our school is rurally located, about 20 minutes drive out of Icheon City. This location has the benefit being easily accessible to Seoul, while allowing a relaxed small-town atmosphere in daily life.
