Kyung Hee University at Seoul, Korea is seeking several qualified EFL professors for the term of September 1, 2012- August 31, 2014
Qualifications
1. MA and/or above in TESOL, ESL/EFL Education, English Language, Linguistics, Primary or Secondary Education, Intercultural Communication and /or related fields.
2. Publication and/or presentation in ESL/EFL field preferred.
3. At least 2-years of university teaching experience preferred.
4. Applicants should satisfy the specified qualification criteria stated in the Employment Regulations for Private Schools Law.
Salary and Benefits
1. Annual starting salary will be approximately 38,500,000won based on qualifications.
2. The contract is renewable for another contract term on good standing.
3. Medical insurance
4. 8 weeks (4 weeks in summer and 4 weeks in winter) of paid vacation per year
5. Private school pension
6. Basic furnished accommodation with minimum rental fees
7. Support of professional development related activities
Responsibilities
1. 12 hours per week teaching load with overtime pay for additional hours
2. Teaching non-credit programs and special language courses at the Institute of International Education
3. Teaching English Reading & Discussion, Reading & Writing, other English courses at the Undergraduate School
4. Professional development of career in the field of ESL/EFL education
5. 3 office hours per week
6. Faculty meetings
7. Participation in all school activities
