Mokpo National University Seeks Professional Native-Speaker Teachers of English for August 27, 2012

The Institute of International Exchange & Education of Mokpo National University, which is located in the south west of Korea, welcomes applicants from native speakers of English to work full-time as professional English language instructors starting August 27, 2012. Successful applicants could teach classes including credit & non-credit university English classes and children¡¯s classes to motivated students. 
1. QUALIFICATIONS (One or more of the following :) 
Level 1: Master¡¯s Degree or higher in TESOL, Linguistics or English Literature. 
Level 2: Master¡¯s Degree or higher in any field or a Bachelor¡¯s in Education, TESOL, or Linguistics. 
Level 3: Bachelor¡¯s Degree in any field and 2 years¡¯ teaching experience. 
* Be a native speaker of English from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the U.K., the U.S.A., or South Africa. 
2. Contract Period 
From August 27, 2012 to August 26, 2013 with the possibility of renewal. 
3. Salary & Overtime 
- Salary: 2,150,000 ~ 2,500,000 won per month depending on the applicant¡¯s teaching experience and qualifications 
- Schedule: 20 class hours per week from Monday through Friday; no work on weekends 
- Vacation: a minimum of 7 weeks paid vacation plus all national holidays 
- Overtime: 23,000won/hr (possibility of 4 to 6 hrs/week). 
4. ACCOMMODATION AND BENEFITS 
- A fully-furnished apartment with 2 bedrooms in Mokpo city 
- Return airfare provided (half paid on arrival, half paid when leaving Korea upon completion of the contract) 
- Severance Pay: one full month¡¯s salary at the end of the contract period. 
- Medical Insurance & National Pension: 50% paid by the employer. 
- A private office with computer and Internet access, etc. 
5. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICANTS 
- A full resume / CV with a recent photo; 
- A cover letter that should include, at least, academic qualifications, teaching experience, and contact information for 2 references; 
- A scanned copy of your transcript 
- Scanned copies of undergraduate and graduate diplomas; 
- A copy of your passport (photo/information page); 
- A copy of a Korean alien registration card (if applicable).
