TLBU International Studies Institute (http://www.tlbuisi.ac.kr) is looking for devoted and passionate professional English Camp Instructors who are interested in teaching Elementary & Middle School level students during the winter of 2013.
TLBU ISI has been successfully operating English camps during the summer and winter vacations for elementary and middle school students since 2001. Though we are located in a very quiet village on a mountainous hillside in Goyang City to the North-West of Seoul, TLBU is less than an hours’ proximity from central Seoul by public transportation.
Full support will be provided by our staff members and the Gen. Manager of the camp. Our comprehensive program has been the core of our success, which is continually being developed by our professional Program Development Team. Teachers will be provided with basic teaching materials. It is mandatory for the teachers to attend orientation that will be held 3 days prior to the beginning of the camp.
The facilities include a cafeteria and dormitory where camp teachers can have 3 meals per day and sleep, free of charge, during their stays. You will stay and work together at TLBU for the duration of the camp(s) with other native English speakers from America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Great Britain as well as with many bilingual teachers and staff who can speak both English & Korean.
Our staff will work hard to make sure that your stay can be a pleasant and comfortable experience. Background checks for the camp teachers are essential for your own safety as well as the students’.

* Remuneration: Negotiable depending on instructor’s teaching experience and qualifications.
* Duration of the Camp
l. From: January 6 to February 2, 2013 (Two 2 week camps / 4 Weeks)
※ included in the contract is a 3 day teacher orientation/ workshop prior to the beginning of the first camp, to which all instructors must attend.
* Location of the Camp
Goyang City, to the North-West of Seoul (45mins distance from Central Seoul by public transportation)
* Day Off: Each teacher is allowed one (1) day off in each camp according to the schedule.
There will be a closing and opening ceremony before and after each camp to which the teachers must attend.
Instructors can take a day off after the closing ceremony and before the opening ceremony.
* Facilities : A cafeteria and dormitory where camp teachers can have 3 meals per day and sleep, free of charge, during their stay. Food is served usually in Korean dish.
Teachers will be provided with a computer to use and an area where teachers will use as their office/common room.
* Qualification: Bachelor or higher degree in any major
Bachelor of Education or related major is preferred
Teaching experience preferred
* Age: From 25 to 40 years old

Successful applicants must apply for a C4 visa. To obtain the visa an apostilled criminal background/record check is required. If you do not have the prospect of receiving apostilled criminal background/record check by the second week of December, your applications will not be considered
You may need to check first with the relevant authorities in your country as to the procedure and process time for these documents.Interested applicants must send the documents no later than Oct. 31, 2012.
