The owners of the school, David and Sarah Kim have lived and worked professionally in England and the USA. Now they bring their international experience toward making a difference in the worldviews of children in Korea.
CIS is an academic orientated private foreign language school teaching children from age 7 and upwards, young adults preparing for university entrance exams, college students transferring to western universities.
The school has been running for 9 years and it has good reputation in the area for its good skill in teaching and interactive learning activities.
CIS is looking for ... a native English teacher, who has patience and passion in teaching, able to cope with all students and teachers, holds at least a Bachelor's Degree for a teaching position.
Education majors and/or teaching experience are preferred. (However, all applicants will be considered)
Teachers who are currently in Korea are also welcomed!!
Start date: 8th April 2013
Location: Bupyeong, Incheon - a suburb to the west of Seoul
Work hours: 25 teaching hours per week (Class start 4pm to 11pm)
No weekends, No morning classes or "split shifts"
Class: Maximum class of 12 students
Salary: 2.0-2.5 million won/month (depending on qualifications)
Vacation: 10 days (5 scheduled + 5 personal/sick days) + all national holidays
Housing: Furnished private apartment close to the school (no sharing)
Severance: 1 month extra salary for completing the one-year contract
Medical insurance: 50% paid by CIS
Airfare: Round-trip airfare paid (reimbursed upon arrival)
