English in Gimhae Public Schools in Korea for GNET program (From May, 2013)

GNET is an official English program of Gimhae city of Korea and looking to hire responsible, enthusiastic native English speakers who are motivated to share knowledge with students and teachers. Requirements : Native English speaker
- BA/BS degree in any field
- Citizenship in a country where the primary spoken language is English (US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)
Benefits :
- Paid vacation : Approx. 8 weeks of paid vacation during the summer, winter and spring vacations (2 weeks of English camp is required in the summer school
vacation and 2weeks of English camp is required in the winter school vacation)
- Basic pay : 2.0~2.7 million KRW/per month, depending on experience etc.
- Free single furnished housing(apartment) : 50 household items ex. bed, TV set etc.
- Entrance airfare : An one-way, direct, economic class ticket reimbursed upon arrival
- Exit airfare : No renewal - one-way, direct, economic class ticket reimbursed before leaving
- Renewal bonus : 2,000,000KRW, paid with the first month salary after renewing a contract
- Settlement allowance : 300,000KRW, in the first month of contract
- One month salary severance pay : Upon completion of contract
- Accident and medical insurance
- Transportation Allowance : Depending on the school's location, the transportation allowance will be provided as follows:

․ 1 school at Eup or Myun of Gimhae, 2 Schools at central area and Eup or Myun of Gimhae : 100,000KRW
․ 2 Schools at Eup or Myun of Gimhae : 150,000KRW
- Rural allowance (all) : 100,000KRW
- Additional school allowance : 100,000KRW (if you have two schools)
Starting date : May 1, 2013
(You have to be prepared for the needed documents such as apostilled national criminal record check and diploma etc. by the end of March)
Recruiting process :
- Application period : March 11(Wed) ~ March 17(Sun), 2013
- Needed documents : Application form, resume(with a small and recent photo of yourself), a copy of your passport, a copy of your university diploma
- Notice of document screening result : March 20(Wed), 2013
- Interview : March 25(Mon), 14:00~18:00
(in Korea : face to face(you have to come) / abroad : international call)
- Final notice : March 27(Wed), 2013
