TWO OPEN POSITION AT OUR ENGLISH CENTER. LOOKING TO FILL POSITION FAST!
Ojeong English Center (OEC), located in Ojeong elementary School, is a non-profit English language school which is sponsored by the Metropolitan City of Gwangju and Office of Education, South Korea.
OEC currently provides situation-based learning and immersion learning to elementary students from the 35 public schools in the Buk-gu district in Gwangju. This center was recently remodeled from 8 general classrooms in Ojeong elementary school. We have outstanding up-to-date facilities for promoting students' interest in and enthusiasm for English. As a teacher, you'll have a pleasant balance of experience-based classes in the morning, and text-based classes in the afternoon.
We are currently looking for two teachers who can join our outstanding team.
Location : 1038-1 Ochi-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, South Korea (Inside of Ojeong elementary school building)
Job Description
1. Conducting English conversational classes for Korean students.
2. Preparing teaching materials and activities for English language education.
3. Assisting with activities related to English language education and other extracurricular activities.
Qualifications
1. A completed Bachelor's Degree
2. Citizenship from the Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand, U.S., Ireland, or South Africa
3. An Active, friendly, outgoing, and cooperative personality
4. Previous teaching experience or an education-related degree is preferred
Specifications
1. One Year Contract. Renewable yearly.
2. Starting date : 26th, April, 2013 / 3rd, June, 2013
3. Salary : 2.1 ~ 2.5 million won/month
4. Teaching hour : 22 hours per week (over-time payment, 20,000 won per hour), Monday ~ Friday
5. Working hours : Mon. ~ Fri. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
6. Teaching level : Elementary school, Adult(2 hours)
7. Housing : Single
8. Benefits : Severance payment, Medical insurance (50/50), All National Holidays, 3 week paid vacation (including holiday), 11days paid sick leave, round-trip airfare
