"I was one hundred percent happy with Johnny from TESLJOBKOREA. He took into account my specific preferences and did not supply me with endless recomendation for other jobs for which I wasn't interested. I exchanged many emails with him over the weeks before, during and after I secured my job which were invaluable in firstly informing and then reassuring me that I was being placed in a secure job. I am delighted with my job - excellent hours, location and co-teachers and my contract has been honoured in every aspect so far. Johnny also knows the director of my school personally which was very reassuring and he has been onto me since to make sure I am getting on okay. To a first time teacher or a more seasoned one I highly recommend recruiting through him!"

The decision to take the first step to teach in a foreign country is a scary one, one that is often made much caution, trepidation and excitement. When I made this step, I realized I would need a recruiter to help me with everything I needed; finding the right location, deciding which sector to work in, applying for jobs, secure the right job and organizing the acquisition of an E2 visa. However, the recruiter could not be just anyone, it was imperative that they posses these four attributes: Someone who is trustworthy (absolutely paramount as you need to be able to put 100% trust in this person), knowledgeable (you need all the information you can get, and the right information at that), proactive (this person needs to be prompt in reciprocation and completely focused on getting you exactly where you want to be), and caring (caring about you as a client and as a prospective teacher). I am very honored and grateful to have found that person – Johnny Ku. Thanks for everything Johnny, you are truly the best!

Hello!
My name is John McMillen. I wanted to teach English in South Korea and found Johnny Ku on www.eslcafe.com
After only a few short months, I am here in Daegu, South Korea where Johnny found me a great school working for an excellent hogwon owner!
Johnny was a pleasure to work with! He always replied to any e-mails promptly, he always made sure to answer all and any questions I was having and he made the process as smooth and easy as possible. Johnny really cares about the teachers he represents and his assistance finding a school and getting a signed contract was invaluable!
I would highly recommend using Johnny Ku to secure your next teaching position here in South Korea or anywhere else!

- John McMillen, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
I highly recommend Johnny Ku as a recruiter if you are a looking for a teaching position in S Korea. He responded to my countless emails almost immediately and always in great depth. He kept me in the loop through out the entire process and always checked to see how I was coming along. When I arrived in Korea, I was picked up at the airport and taken to my school. The school is a great fit and Johnny's team has been helping with the transition into Korean life. Any problem or issue, they are quick to respond and find a solution. Johnny's team is a great mediator between a teacher and their school. Bottom line- when I decided I wanted to teach in Korea, Johnny Ku made it happen. Thanks Johnny!

Johnny Ku is an excellent recruiter. He is honest, kind, friendly, pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He also very promptly answered any questions that I had during the recruitment process. I had a bit of an out of the ordinary situation in which I shipped my two cats to Korea. Johnny put much effort into arranging services in Korea so that they could arrive in my town after landing in Seoul. Long story short, they were delayed in getting to me because of bad weather and it was a very worrisome and stressful situation for me for a few days. However, Johnny was wonderful in keeping my updated and easing my worries until they arrived. I so appreciated all of the help he gave me and his positive attitude during this process. I think that Johnny is the kind of recruiter that will go “above and beyond” for the teacher and I would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in teaching in Korea.
-Tammy Johnson, New York, NY, U.S.A.
Johnny found me a job that fit every criteria of what I was looking for. Throughout the whole process he was completely honest, helpful and polite. He always promptly answered any question or concern I had in detail and was totally professional in all aspects. He found me an ideal position and helped me have a carefree transition to a new city. After my arrival in Korea he stayed in touch with me and made sure that everything was just as I wanted. Honestly, there is nothing more I could have asked from him. I would recommend Johnny and his services to anyone returning to Korea or coming for the first time. Thanks again Johnny!

This is my first time coming to teach in South Korea. Before arriving, I was most nervous about the placement I was receiving. Was it going to be right fit for me? Now that I am here, I could not have asked for anything else! Johnny Ku of TESL Job worked hard to make this happen for me. I was referred to him by a friend and I could have never worked with anyone else. Johnny was 100% honest and helpful in every way. He answered any questions I had in a timely manner. He also took time to call to make sure that things were running smoothly. Johnny provided with me with all of the necessary information that was needed to get here and then to begin living here. Above all, he did everything in his power to place me in the exact city I was requesting to be near a friend. I was truly amazed with his professionalism and pleasant nature! Like I said, I was referred to him and I will recommend him to anyone interested in teaching in South Korea. In truth, Johnny Ku is the best there is!!

In my three times of coming to teach in South Korea, Johnny Ku of TESL Job, has by far, been the best recruiter I've worked with in every domain of the entire process; bar none. He was honest, fair, and extremely helpful. He was able to provide detailed information about the position, visa process, and communicated with me directly in a timely fashion. He went above and beyond his duties as a recruiter with negotiations, and also helped locate other leisurely activities that I was looking to participate in within my city. Not only was he professional with helping me locate this job, and get through the process, but he was always cheerful and in high spirits. If you're looking to come teach in South Korea, go through the best - go through Johnny Ku.
-Ryan Hawkins, Glen Hope, PA, U.S.A.
Johnny Ku helped me greatly as I prepared for South Korea. He was very consistent and eager in providing me the information I needed. His guidance made my transition to a foreign country much easier. I am so very grateful for his generosity.
-Leah Buretta, St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A.

TESL Job, a company that matches employers with teachers of English in South Korea did a very good job of finding me a job. Where other recruiters did not follow through and did not take the time to answer questions or address my concerns, Johnny Ku was amazing! He always replied immediately and answered my questions in detail. (Usually) And the school he connected me with has been a "dream job" so far.
But that's not all. Johnny worked a minor miracle. I was told that I was too old to be hired in Korea by both recruiters and school directors. (I am over 40,) but Johnny found a director who was actually happy about my age and life experience and it certainly has not been a problem since starting work. (What a lot of hogwash that age thing is!) I have been thrilled with Johnny and his company and would recommend them to anyone looking for a job teaching English in Korea.
