Sun Moon University is hiring assistant English teachers who can teach in Elementary, Middle, High schools in the Asan-city area.
Campus location: Asan-city, Chungnam Province (about 30 minutes from Seoul by KTX)
Contract Date: September 1st 2012 ~ August 31st, 2013 (Extension possible after assessment)
Employer: Asan Office of Education
Hiring: Sun Moon University, Sun Moon Institute for Language Education (SMILE)
Minimum Requirements:
4-year University degree from an English speaking nation
Native English Speaker
TESOL, TEFL certificate required
Experience teaching in public schools an advantage
Teaching Responsibilities:
20 hours teaching per week (two semesters of 18 weeks) plus 3 weeks teaching during summer vacation and 3 weeks during winter vacation.
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. working hours
Possible after-school program (extra pay)
Salary:
2,000,000 won monthly salary
Additional Benefits:
Severance pay (one month)
100,000 won per month transportation allowance during school months (8 months)
9 weeks paid vacation per year
National medical insurance system: Employer 50% employee 50%
