Adults / Web-teaching (Work at home) / Seoul (Dongjak-gu)


Soongsil Edu, under Soongsil University, is handling all kinds of English classes in Soongsil University in Seoul, Korea. We instruct from kindergarten to adults for improving their English proficiency. All English teachers in Soongsil Edu work hard and they are satisfied with their job. Also, the students, from Novice to Advanced, are willing to learn the language from the instructors. Web-teaching is one of our English programs. Learners and an instructor can communicate with certain computer program so they don't need to come to off-line classroom. We are looking for experienced, qualified and hard-working teachers for this program. You will have a great opportunity for teaching experience with us.
1. Job Description
* Work Period: October 9th ~
* Orientation session: One day within next week
- Must take the Orientation sessions.
- Around 4 hours (Receiving training about the class etc.)
- Join Monday’s class
* Teaching Hours:
Monday to Friday – 9:00-11:00 pm (4 classes)
- Never be late and be on time (on-line)
- Teaching + small paper work (making class material)
* Student Age Groups: 30~40
* Number of students: 1 or more students for a class (Ave. 5)
(The class is absolutely free for learners so sometimes nobody visited on-line classroom or a few students came to the class.)
* Monthly salary: 950,000 Korean won (The salary is paid even though nobody joins the class and will be deducted by tax.)
* Working Location: at home (OT : Soongsil University, Sang-do Dong, Dong Jak Gu, Seoul, South Korea)
2. Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (any discipline, minimum requirement)
* Teaching experience
* Hard worker, responsible and flexible attitude
* Be able to communicate in Korean (A little is ok.)
* Must have a personal computer with high version of Windows (Mac doesn’t work with the program) and a headset with microphone
3. Required Documents
- An original copy of diploma / an original copy of Official Transcript
- Resume & cover letter
- Reference letters
- Passport & page copy
- Certificate (e.g. TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, etc. in case you have one)
- Recent photo (within 6 months, passport size)
4. Evaluation Process
- Once all your papers reviewed we’ll contact you for final interview.
