Teachers Needed in Incheon, Gyeyang-gu, Korea


The Attached Elementary School of Gyeongin National University of Education
(Incheon, Gyeyang-gu)
Situated in the Northern part of Incheon, it’s one of the most prestigious schools in Korea. The standards of the school are high, as are the English proficiency of the students. Interviews are currently underway to fill two positions for native English speaking teachers to teach the national curriculum to students from grade 1 to 6.
Information:
- Contract: March 1, 2013 – Feb 28, 2014.
- Salary: \2 000 000/month
- Teaching hours (Curriculum): 20h/week. (08:30-16:30)
- Students/class: 28 max.
- After school: One or two 40min classes/week. Possible \500 000 extra/month (Depending on amount of students enrolling for the classes)
- Two English teaching positions available.

- English proficiency of students is of the highest level in Korea.
- Furnished housing provided at the guest house of Gyeongin National University of Education (Walking distance from the subway station)
- or a housing allowance of \300 000/month (utilities not included)
Benefits:
- National Pension plan; 50% supported by school.

- Utilities, including water & electricity and internet, are paid for by employer.
- 18 days paid vacation
- Severance pay after completion of contract.
Preferences:
- Teachers currently residing in Korea.
- Teachers with a B.Ed degree or similar.
