Exciting New Opportunity in Korea's Ecological Capital City, Suncheon, Jeollanam-do


Song & Smith Academy in Suncheon City is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated native English speaking teacher to begin working as soon as possible. We are an ambitious and progressive academy which is run by an Irish and Korean couple.
Contract period: February 18th, 2013 to March 18th, 2014 (Renewable)

Qualifications:
1.A native speaker of English and a citizen of the U.S.A., Canada, England, Ireland, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand.
2. Hold a bachelor's degree from a university in one of these countries.
3. Have the required documents prepared for the Korean E-2 visa.
( Including criminal background check and an apostilled Degree)
Salary
2.2 - 2.4 million won depending on qualifications and experience.
- Round trip airfare is provided (If you are in Korea, one way trip airfare is provided)
- A new fully furnished apartment is provided about 5~10 minutes walk from the academy.
- Working hours are Monday-Friday 2:00-9:00pm (6 classes a day)
- Students range in age between 7 and 15 years old.
- 5 days of paid vacation in the winter and 5 days in the summer plus all National holidays.
- 50% of medical insurance and National Pension paid by the school. (With the completion of contract
- Severance pay of one month's salary will be given when you complete the contract.

Suncheon is a developing city in the province of Jeollanam-do. It is a scenic, agricultural and industrial city of around 250,000 people near Suncheon Bay. It is located in the southeastern corner of Jeollanam-do, just over an hour south-east of Gwangju and forty minutes south of the port city of Yeosu. There is a growing foreign community that is welcoming and will help you get established. We have one other native teacher and three other Korean English teachers who will also help and assist you in any way they can. The director and teachers at the school will do everything possible to help you settle here and make your time here more enjoyable.
