SAT/Business English Content Writer/Junior Program Instructor - Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea

1. 2013 Summer Intensive SAT Instructor (2013 June-August)

The Princeton Review Korea conducts intensive courses during June, July, and August for our Summer Intensive session. TPRK staff members are actively seeking reliable and motivated people to join our team of talented instructors. The details are provided below:
Training Schedule:
1. May 20th – June 1st
2. June 17th – July 27th
* Dates are subject to change according to session schedule.
Session Schedule:
1. June 3rd – June 27th
2. June 28th – July 24th
3. July 26th – August 23rd
* Dates are subject to change.
(Instructors must be able to teach a minimum of two months during the Summer Intensive Session. In addition, instructors must be able to attend mandatory training prior to teaching.)
Compensation:
Instructor will be paid 25,000KRW an hour. Instructors can work up to 40 hours a week and make up to 4,000,000KRW per month and 12,000,000 for three months of work.
Airfare Reimbursement:
The Princeton Review Korea will provide overseas instructors with economy class airfare into Seoul, Korea, from an agreed upon international airport and from Seoul to an agreed upon international airport upon completion of the contract based on the following criteria:
1. Roundtrip airfare reimbursement for instructors working all 3 months of the Summer Intensive Program.
2. One-way airfare reimbursement for instructors working 2 months of the Summer Intensive Program.
*All airfare reimbursements will be received after successful completion of instructor¡¯s contracted term.
Housing:
The Princeton Review Korea will provide housing for instructors for the duration of employment. The provided housing will be dormitory style studio apartments in the vicinity of the campus that instructors are assigned to instruct at.

2. Business English Content Writers (Full-time)
The Princeton Review Korea is looking for global-minded, experienced, and proactive content writers to join our Business English R&D Division.
1) Job description
* Writing articles and creating full lessons covering a wide range of business topics, targeted toward Business English learners of all speaking levels (basic ~ advanced)
* Conducting research to obtain factual information and authentic detail, utilizing sources such as newspaper accounts, websites/blogs/social media, mobile apps, magazines, interviews, and other multimedia sources
* Reviewing, submitting for approval, and revising written material to meet personal standards and satisfy needs of company and client.
* Planning, developing, and launching new Business English programs, curriculum and textbooks, activities and supplementary materials.
* Planning, facilitating, presenting, and evaluating instructor training that supports the aligned curriculum
* Creating and conducting various theme-based presentations in English for corporate clients and business professionals.
* Audio/Video recordings of R&D content
* Managing photo/image content, materials, and sources
* Providing content development support to Online and Mobile Application teams
* Textbook editing/revisions & basic formatting/design
2) Minimum Requirements
* BA/MA in English Literature, Journalism, Linguistics, Education, Business Management
* Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and has genuine passion for writing, teaching, and ESL.
* Excellent editing/revision skills & extremely detail-oriented
* Complete mastery of English (written & verbal)
* The ability to deal with conflicting priorities
* Flexible and responsive to constructive criticism
* Business work experience or consultancy experience (marketing, sales, administration, HR, etc)
* Minimum 1 year business English teaching experience in Korea
* R&D experience for adult conversation/business English textbooks and/or curriculum, planning or other related professional experience
* MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ¡§C Textbook formatting & design skills.
* Adobe Indesign skills (preferred, but not required)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 am*6 pm
Location: Samsung station (Subway line number 2)
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation package: negotiable based on experience and qualifications

3. Business English Intensive Program (Female preferred)
Full-time Position (Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 8:00 PM)
* Type of Class: Business English Intensive Program
* Students: Adults/Business Professionals
* Levels: Beginner/Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate
* Class size: 10-15 Students/Class
* Curriculum: Standardized Curriculum and Course Books (training provided)
* Start Date: ASAP (Training period: at least 2 weeks)
* Class Schedule: Monday to Friday 100 hours of guaranteed teaching per month.
Locations
* Paju
* Chungju or Ansan
* Instructors are required to stay at each province from Monday to Friday.

4. 100 CLASSICS PART-TIME POSITION (STARTING February 2013)
The 100 Classics program offers a motivating studying method through reading, writing, and discussion. This is an English educational program for elementary, middle school, and high school students to develop cultural refinement, critical thinking, and creative thinking skills.
CLASS TIMES: Teachers can choose to teach 1 or 2 classes on Saturdays.
Optional time slots:
Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Saturdays from 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Saturdays from 5:40 PM - 9:10 PM
LOCATION: Apgujeong Station (Subway Line no. 3)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Potential instructor candidates for the 100 Classics program must have a college degree from an accredited university, preferably with degree in English Literature or certificate by Teacher's College. Candidates with previous teaching experience in ESL and/or are degree holders in related fields such as literature/writing and education, are preferred.
Candidates with curriculum development experience as well as candidates who can commit to more than one year are also preferred. Above all requirements, instructors must enjoy the company of a younger demographic of students.
Successful instructors should be passionate and compassionate instructors who have the ability to adapt to numerous class situations.
COMPENSATION: Part-time 100 Classics instructors will be compensated at 25,000 KRW per hour.
