Teachers Required for a Chain of International Schools in Saudi Arabia


Our client in Saudi Arabia requires qualified and experienced male/female teachers of British / Irish / American / Canadian educational background for its network of international schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our client is one of the oldest educational institutions in the Kingdom with 75 Arabic and English medium schools and an enrollment of approximately 23000 students and 1500 male / female teachers.
Teaching staff is required for the academic year beginning September 2013 to teach the University of Cambridge IGCSE/A' Level and American High School Diploma courses in the following subjects: First/Second Language English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computing, accounting, economics, history, geography, and Business Studies.
Lower Primary Class Teachers with experience of teaching English, maths, General Science, Social Studies, and Art & Crafts to 6 - 9 year olds are also required.
Eligibility:
At least a Bachelor’s degree in related subject, preferably with teaching certification (PGCE, etc.) and some teaching experience. Teachers without a Bachelor's degree but TEFL / CELTA / DELTA certification may be considered for English teaching positions.

Salary & Allowances:
• Negotiable tax-free take-home salary package ranging between Saudi Riyals 7500 and 12000 (approx. GBP 1250 to 2000) per month for teachers. Higher negotiable scale for administrators.
• Transport Allowance: Saudi Riyals 400 (GBP 67; US$ 106)/month. Current petrol prices are UK 7.5p/litre; US 12c/litre (1 GBP = 13.33 litres; 1 US$ = 8.33 litres).
