Teach English Part-Time in the Beautiful Pottery Town of Mashiko

We are seeking a part time native English speaker to teach at Takara English School in Mashko, Tochigi, starting in April 2013.
The position starts at 3,000 Yen per 50 minute class.
Currently we need someone to teach 3 classes on one afternoon a week. The children range in age from 6 to 12. Each class is 50 minutes. Class size is limited to 8 students, but may decrease.
This work would be best suited to someone living in Tochigi who already has a visa and some experience teaching kids.
Our school operates in Takara Kindergarten which is run by Kannonji Temple in the heart of downtown Mashiko, a small town which is world famous for its pottery.
The school is still small, with about 155 students, but is always growing and has grown to the point were we need another teacher to help us one day a week - Wednesday, Thursday or Friday - from April, 2013. As the school grows the classes offered will increase.
Currently we have one main teacher, teaching all week, and one part-time teacher helping us on Mondays. Both are Canadian and have been in Japan for a while with quite a bit of experience teaching children. We also have two talkative Japanese staff, both native to Tochigi. The mood of the school is relaxed and cheerful, but we are serious about getting our students to excel at English.
We would be happy to work with someone who has a lot of experience, as long as they are able to follow some of the basic methods we employ and can follow our curriculum well. Someone without so much experience is also acceptable if they are willing to learn our style of teaching.
Of course, we are looking for someone who is friendly, cheerful, has a great sense of humor and is good with children.
If you are interested in working with us, please send a resume and cover letter, or some form of self introduction to: takaraenglish@yahoo.co.jp
Thanks
Chris, Hiromi, Sakae
