1. Full-time Professor Position
Job Description:
The Department of Liberal Arts at Daegu Haany University located near Daegu, Korea, invites applications from native speakers of English for a full-time professor position to begin August 26, 2013.
Qualifications
Applicants must have an M.A. degree from an accredited university and a minimum of two years experience teaching at the college level. Preference is given for applicants with an M.A degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related fields. Special consideration will also be given to applicants who are qualified to teach one of the following courses:
 English Drama and Musicals
 Teaching English to Children
* Contract Period
a) Two years (Beginning August 26, 2013), renewable up to 6 years.
b) This contract can be renewed upon successful evaluations and mutual agreement.
* Working Conditions & Benefits
a) Teaching load: 12 hours per week
b) Salary: About KW 29,040,000 per year(with 4 months paid vacation)
c) Off-campus housing assistance (KW 400,000 per month)
d) One round trip airfare (up to KW 1,000,000 per year)

TESOL REVIEW is a peer-reviewed journal published by the DHU TESOL Program at Daegu Haany University in South Korea. We are calling for article submissions for the 2013 issue of our journal.
TESOL REVIEW publishes original articles and book reviews in the research and practice of English as a second or foreign language. TESOL REVIEW welcomes articles on EFL pedagogy, second language acquisition, language assessment, teaching techniques, applied socio and psycholinguistics, and other related areas.
Articles should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document to the editor-in-chief, Dr. Scott Miles (email: tesol@dhu.ac.kr) as an email attachment. Responses to article submissions (accept or reject) will be given by the end of September.
