Full-time University Position: Seoul, Korea

POSITION: Full-time instructor.
The students are all university freshmen. This is an excellent opportunity for career path teachers to gain university teaching experience in Korea.
Contract Term: One Year, from July 4, 2012 to July 3, 2013
SALARY: Maximum total pay package of 41,100,000 won per year, which includes housing allowance and severance pay (when successfully complete 1-year contract).
BENEFITS:
National Pension Plan, 50% supported by the university.
National Health Insurance, 50% supported by the university
For applicant hired outside of Korea, round trip airfare is provided. (Must complete the full one-year contract)
TEACHING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, usually 6 hours per day, maximum 30 hours per week.
Working hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm
OFFICE: Shared Instructors¡¦ office. Every instructor is provided with a desk and computer.
VACATION: 5 days in summer, 10 days in winter.
HOUSING: Key money is provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Native English speaker
2. Master¡¦s degree
3. MA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or Education preferable
4. TESOL or CELTA certificate
5. Minimum two-year teaching experience at the university level

Salary Range:
MA in Education & TESOL (Applied Linguistics) with over 2 years teaching experience:
Total pay package of 41,600,000 won per year
Ć Annual Teaching Salary: 32,400,000 won per year (monthly salary: 2,700,000 won)
Ć Housing allowance: 6,000,000 won (monthly: 500,000 won)
Ć Severance pay: one month salary
MA in Education & TESOL (Applied Linguistics) with less than 2 years teaching experience:
Total pay package of 40,300,000 won per year
Ć Annual Teaching Salary: 31,200,000 won per year (monthly salary: 2,600,000 won)
Ć Housing allowance: 6,000,000 won (monthly: 500,000 won)
Ć Severance pay: one month salary
MA in an unrelated filed with less than 2 years teaching experience:
Total pay package of 39,000,000 won per year
Ć Annual Teaching Salary: 30,000,000 won per year (monthly salary: 2,500,000 won)
Ć Housing allowance: 6,000,000 won (monthly: 500,000 won)
Ć Severance pay: one month salary

University Summer Position: Seoul, Korea

Contract Term: Two months, from July 2, 2012 to August 31, 2012
SALARY: 3,000,000 won per month (housing allowance is included)
BENEFITS: No health insurance support during the period of employment
For applicant hired outside of Korea, airfare is not provided
** Prefer applicants who currently reside in Korea
TEACHING HOURS:
Monday through Friday, usually 6 hours per day (maximum 30 hours per week)
Working hours range from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m.
