EPIK_BENEFITS

Busan Metropolitan City, also known as Busan is the largest port city in South Korea. Busan has a population of 3.65 million and is South Korea's second largest metropolis, after Seoul. The city is located on the Southeasternmost tip of the Korean Peninsula and faces the Korea Strait. The most densely built up areas of the city are situated in a number of narrow valleys between the Nakdong River and Suyeong River, with mountains separating some of the districts. Administratively, it is designated as a Metropolitan City. The Busan metropolitan area is divided into 15 major administrative districts and a single county.
Busan was the host city of the 2002 Asian Games and APEC 2005 Korea. It was also one of the host cities for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, and is a center for international conventions in Korea. Daegu officially called Daegu Metropolitan City, is the fourth largest city in South Korea after Seoul, Busan, and Incheon. It is the capital of Gyeongsangbuk-doprovince, although it is not legally part of that province. As with South Korea's other metropolitan cities, Daegu's government reports directly to the national government.
Daegu has a total of 4.5 million trees along the streets and in the parks of the downtown area. In Daegu there is 50 square meters of park area per person, the largest of 7 metropolitan cities in Korea. The total area of Daegu's parks also turns out to be the largest among all the 7 metropolitan cities: Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Incheon, Gwangju, Daegeon and Ulsan.
According to the survey in late 2001, Daegu has 126 of parks area, occupying 14.2% of its total area. The city government has set up an objective to reorganize its major parks as specialized theme parks such as historical heritages, memorial parks, recreational zones athletic grounds, etc.

Ulsan Metropolitan City has supervised metropolitan administrative affairs since its promotion from Ulsan-si, Gyeongsangnam-do to Ulsan Metropolitan City on July 15, 1997 in an endeavor to increase the convenience of its residents, promote the local development and balanced development of national land, following its designation as Ulsan Industrial Zone on February 01 1962 and its subsequent promotion to Ulsan-si on June 01 1962.
Ulsan Metropolitan City is one of the seven major cities in Korea, with a total area of 1057§´, home to 1.1million people and achieving 72.9% of financial self-sufficiency. Approximately 19million pyeong or industrial plot is located on fertile soil formed by Taehwa River, and on the hill inside the ports, such as Ulsan port, Onsan port and Bangeojin port in Ulsan Bay, paving the way for the development of Ulsan's, an industrial city.
The center of Ulsan Metropolitan City is divided into new and old streets and rear satelite, and is separated from the agricultural and fishery towns by the green belt. Particularly, the eastern coastal area and inland area around Ulsan are endowed with beautiful natural scenery and this industrial town is surrounded by nature, Ulsan is a good place to live in.

Gwangju is the gateway to Seoul, a capital with a vital frontier spirit opening to the new world, and the ancient capital of Baekje. Gwangju is our pride, which has kept the history and indomitable spirit of the mountains and fields through historic Namhansanseong Fortress and a beautiful natural environment.

Jeju-do (transliterated Korean for Jeju Province, short form of Jeju Special Autonomous Province) is the only special autonomous province of South Korea, situated on and coterminous with the country's largest island. Jeju-do lies in the Korea Strait, southwest of Jeollanam-do Province, of which it was a part before it became a separate province in 1946. Its capital is the city of Jeju.
The island contains the Natural World Heritage Site entitled Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes.
