The positions themselves are based in private schools around Istanbul and are great for experiencing cosmopolitan Turkish culture whilst teaching in a sophisticated working environment. The positions are for teaching (all ages) roles in the schools, and are based on both sides of Istanbul.
The specifications are as follows:
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Position: ESL Teacher
Institution: Kindergarten,Primary and Secondary School
Wage: 2150 TL per month, if you have <1 year classroom exp. after tax OR 2400 TL per month, if you have >1 year classroom exp. after tax
Accommodation: Assisted in Finding (normally costs around 550 TL per month)
Flights: Not Provided
Airport Pick Up: Provided
Hours per week: 20 - 25 classroom hours, 40 hours on site.
Children per class: 20-25
Private Tuition: Possible to Organise
Start Date: c. September 9th 2013
End Date: June 29th, 2014
Qualifications:
The teacher must have the following:
1) A teaching qualification, such as TEFL/CELTA
2) Experience of 1 year is preferred but not necessary
3) A university degree
4) Native English
