4.2 - 5.3 million - Intensives & PTs


We have three new positions opening up:

(1) Part-time Hakwon Instrutor position / ASAP - December 31 (one day a week)
(2) 4 week business English intensive program (4 weeks of teaching). July 8 - August 2.
(3) 10 week business English intensive program (1 week of training / 10 weeks of teaching). June 10 - August 16.

▶▶ FIRST POSITION = PART-TIME HAKWON INSTRUCTOR ◀◀

Position: Conversational English instructor at a small, private Hakwon

Location: Yaksu Station / Chung-gu Station (in Seoul)

Qualifications:
 Native English speaker with a college degree or certificate. At least one year of experience teaching kids. 

Time:
 1:00pm – 7:20pm (one hour of prep = 1pm – 2pm / 5 hours of teaching = 2pm – 7pm)

Days: Wednesday

Duration:
 ASAP: Present – December 31, 2013 (from now until the end of the year)

Curriculum: General English with a focus on conversational skills.

Teaching Material:
 Instructor will be given a textbook and just needs to follow the information in the textbook.

Student Level: 
Elementary to middle school students

Payment Terms: Hourly rate is set at 30,000 won per hour. 150,000 won per day.
Required Visa: F series visa, female instructor preferred

▶▶SECOND POSITION = 4-WEEK BUSINESS INTENSIVE ◀◀
Position: Business English Instructor (4 week intensive course)
Requirements: At least 2+ years of business English teaching experience
Location: Suwon Science College, Kyunggi-do (about 45 minutes from Seoul).
Transportation: Company bus will pick you up from Yangjae station at 7:10am or Kyodae station at 7:15am.
Time: Mon – Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm (actual teaching hours will be between 5-6 hours)

Duration: July 8 – August 2. There may be a one or two day prep orientation before the start of the program.
***Successful candidates are called back for future programs.
Curriculum: All teaching materials will be provided. The teaching contents are broken down as follows:
· Part 1: General English (Basic conversational English, TOEIC speaking, other related subjects)
· Part 2: Business English (meetings, negotiations, email writing, presentations, etc)
Student Level: Beginner – Advanced

Payment Terms: Pay is 40,000 won per hour.
***Approx 4.5 – 5.4 million for the program (this is the AFTER TAX net payment you can expect. 
Please note that this is an estimate and the payment depends on the number of hours worked and actual payment may end up being more or less).

*Please note that breakfast is not provided.
Required Visa: F series Visas only

▶▶THIRD POSITION = 10-WEEK BUSINESS INTENSIVE ◀◀
Position: Business English Instructor (10 week intensive course)
Requirements: At least 2+ years of business English teaching experience

Location:
 Yongin (company bus picks you up in Seoul near Kyodae Station OR Bundang)
Transportation: Company bus will pick you up from Kyodae station at 6:55am or Suhyun station at 7:05am.
Time: Mon – Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm (actual teaching hours are 2.5 –3.5 hours, but you’ll be paid 5 hours)

Duration: June 10 – August 16 (there may be a paid prep week from June 3- 7)

Curriculum:
 Textbooks/course packets will be provided. Topics will cover Business English, social English, speaking techniques, and cultural communication.

Student Level:
 Beginner – Advanced

Payment Terms: Pay is 42,500 won per hour.
***Approx 4.2 – 4.5 million per month (this is the AFTER TAX net payment you can expect. Please note that this is an estimate and the payment depends on the number of hours worked and actual payment may end up being more or less).
