Our private institute in Dangni-dong, Saha-gu, has one vacancy for a full-time teacher able to begin work on Monday, 16 December 2013

Our private institute in Dangni-dong, Saha-gu, has one vacancy for a full-time teacher able to begin work on Monday, 16 December 2013. We are looking for a suitably qualified native-English speaker to teach English to elementary and middle school students for six hours per day, five days a week. Ideally, this person will be someone who is already in Korea.
Our Director holds an M.A. in TESOL from an English-speaking country, and was previously a coordinator of the language center at a prestigious university in Busan. He is therefore professional in his outlook, especially with regard to how a school should be run and how teachers should be treated not only by the school, but also by its students.
We are specifically looking for a lively, conscientious teacher who is both enthusiastic and professional in his or her approach, and who genuinely enjoys the challenges and rewards of teaching Korean elementary and middle school students.
Working Conditions:
Salary: 2.2 million won per month
Teaching Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday - NO classes on weekends and public holidays)
Housing: a semi-furnished non-shared studio apartment (bed, TV, basic kitchen utensils, etc provided)
Benefits:
- Severance Pay (after the completion of 12 months' employment)
- Health Insurance and Pension Plan
- Ten days paid vacation per year
- Paid public holidays (which means no classes on public holidays but counted as teaching hours)
How to apply: Please send a cover letter, resume, and a copy of your passport to the Director at nolli1@yahoo.com. Should you be invited to an interview, you will need to bring all original documents (including university transcripts) with you.
We regret that due to shortage of time only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
We look forward to hearing from you.
