1. TaLK ORIENTATION COORDINATOR:
9th Generation NIIED TaLK Orientation Program Coordinator, August 1st through August 24th 2012.
- Location
Korea University, Jochiwon, South Korea.
Role Overview -
Assisting the coordination of the Korean government NIIED TaLK Program orientation, easing overseas, native English-speaking TaLK Scholars into life in Korea & the Korean school system. The TaLK coordinators role is largely an overseeing, mentoring role; coordinators are assigned to a group of TaLK Scholars (anywhere from 30-60 scholars) and you work as part of a team coordinating the group intrusted into your care for the duration of the orientation project.
Role Visa Application Considerations:
For both roles applicants need to acquire, or be in possession of the appropriate visa to allow them to work in Korea. Ideally, & given the last-minute nature of these openings, we're interested in hearing only from applicants who already have Korean work visa clearance (F or E-class visa holders). For non-F or E-class visa holders applicants must be citizens of the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or the Republic of Ireland & must acquire the necessary C4 visa before arrival in Korea. Applicants needing to acquire a C4 visa should ONLY, given the limited time, apply to Camp Korea if they already have the required visa documents in hand & thus are ready to apply for the visa NOW.
