The recently established Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) is the primary training and education facility for the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. As part of our English training program we offer courses in debate, presentation, writing, etc. We are currently looking to hire one full-time English instructor by the end of July of this year. Details of the position and qualifications are as follows:
Qualifications
Master¡¯s Degree preferred in TESOL, Education or Communication
Native-speaker of English
Applicants with previous teaching experience and that currently reside in Korea are preferred
Primary Responsibilities
Teach English classes on debate, presentation, writing, etc.
Develop relevant course curriculums and teaching materials/booklets
Employment Period
6 month initial contract (can be extended in accordance with mutual agreement)
Salary
4 million won per month starting salary (this includes a housing stipend)
Working Hours
10-5pm Monday thru Friday
Paid Vacation
minimum 1 week per 6-month contract term (additional vacation time negotiable)
