Hanyang University International Language Institute Full-Time Instructor Position

The International Language Institute at Hanyang University is looking for a dedicated and responsible full-time, native English-speaking instructor who can start teaching non-credit English Conversation and Writing classes and also taking responsibility as a Head Teacher at the Institute.
*Job Description
1.Position : Full-time Instructor position in International Language Institute, Hanyang University
2.Contract Period : 1 year starting from March 1, 2013
3.A base 18 hours of teaching per week for spring and fall semesters and 24 hours per week for summer and winter semesters with the option of overtime, if available. (The classes at the International language Institute are 8 weeks long during the summer and winter and 10 weeks long during the spring and fall.).
*Qualifications
1.Native English Speaker
2.4 year B.A. degree from an English-speaking country. Preference given to M.A. degree holders, and English Education/linguistics majors or TESOL/CELTA.
3.University teaching experience highly desirable.
*Salary
Commensurate with one’s qualification and experience, but ranges from a yearly salary of 24.5 – 30.0 million won for B.A. holders. M.A. degree holders are paid a yearly salary of 25.9 – 30.0 million won.
*Severance Pay
Upon the completion of each 12-month contract, severance pay, which is equivalent to one month’s salary, is given.
*Housing
A studio in Hanyang Dormitory (if available), with utilities and telephone paid for, or a housing allowance of 300,000 won each month.
*Vacations
Approximately 12-16 weeks paid vacation (2-3 weeks between terms and 1 week in each term).
*Additional Benefits

2.National pension(50% from the instructor and 50% from the university)
3.Office with two computers, shared with 2 others.
4.50% off the tuition of Hanyang Korean Language Program, provided that your attendance does not interfere with your duties in the International Language Institute
