Kongju National University requires two ESL Instructors for the Institute of International Language Education
1. Job Title: ESL Instructor
2. Working Conditions
* Starting Date: March 1, 2013
* Teaching Days: 5 days (Monday-Friday)
* Total Teaching Hours: 25 hours per week
* Salary
- Monthly Salary Range: 2.0million won (ESL Instructor)
- Overtime pay: 25,000 won per hour
- Housing Allowance: 250,000 won/month(On-Campus housing
available, BTL Standard)
* If living outside, monthly allowance will be given
* Benefit
- 10 weeks paid vacation/year (2 weeks each for Spring, Autumn,
3 weeks each for Summer, Winter)
- 50% support for Health Insrurance, National Pension, 100%
support for Occupational Health and Safety insurance policies
- Severance Pay: On completion of the contract, 1 month payment
will be given
- Bonus: After the completion of the contract, 500,000 won will be given
3. Qualifications
* Native English Speaker
* Holders of BA, MA or Ph.D with at least one year teaching
experience at an officially approved institute
- (Preferred) Majored in areas related to education, English education or English literature
- (Preferred) Holders of English education certificates(e.g TESOL /TEFL/ CELTA)
* Must attend a face-to-face interview. (If not, not considered)

Diploma(s) verified by the Korean Consulate in your native or A
Copy of Diploma(s) attached with documents issued by the Korean
Council for University Education(KCUE).
* Transcripts(Undergraduate and Graduate)
* Employment History Form
* Copies of Teaching Certificate(s)(Teacher's certificate, TESOL
/TEFL /CELTA etc.)
* Copy of Passport: Photo/Information Page
* If Applicable: Copy of Alien Registration Card
* Criminal Record Check
* Two Letters of Recommendation
* Personal Medical Statement
* Release Letter(If you are working in Korea)
5. Contract Period: March 1, 2013-February 28, 2014 (1 year) / with
possibility of renewal
