A new school is coming! TCIS (Taejon Christian International School) and Education Designers are partnering to start an off-campus school called TYLC (TCIS Young Learners’ Center). TYLC will provide programs for nursery (24 mos) through Kindergarten. We are also providing after-school programming for primary grades 1-4.
The programs will be part of a full international curriculum with the goal of preparing very young learners for entry into international schools anywhere in the world, including the IB’s PYP, which is delivered at TCIS. We are using TCIS as a model for Christian education in the international environment. To see more about this dynamic environment you can visit the TCIS website (www.tcis.or.kr) to get an idea.
The afterschool programming is designed to strike a balance between developing creative and critical thinking skills and preparing students for the challenges of the Korean public school system.
