Full-time English Faculty (Assistant Professor Level, Non-Tenure Track)
* Qualification Requirements
1. Applicants must be eligible for appointment according to the Private University and Hansei University Faculty Appointment Regulations.
2. All Applicants MUST have 4 years of teaching experience at the university level or at an educational institute.
* Study period for a master¡¯s (or doctorate) degree is regarded as part of one¡¯s career track. (M.A.: maximum 2 years, M.A and Doctorate: maximum 5 years)
Ex) If you have a master¡¯s degree and your studying period was 2011.3.1~2012.8.31, your teaching work experience will be counted as a year and a half.
* We prefer applicants who have a Master¡¯s degree in Applied Linguistics, TESOL or related fields or research field. And we also prefer applicants who have a Master¡¯s degree in Social Welfare, Choral Conducting, Police administration or related fields.
3. Applicants must be Christian.
4. Applicants of Korean nationality are not eligible.
* Evaluation Procedures & Criteria
Applicant evaluation will be conducted in two stages.
A. First screening - Evaluation of all applicants' academic background and employment history.
B. Second screening - Interview (For first screening qualifiers only)
Evaluation of the applicants' teaching ability, teaching philosophy and so forth.

2. Second screening

C. Certificate of teaching work experience provided by your previous employer with dates, contact information and signature/stamps.
D. Certificate of Criminal record from your country of origin.

1. Appointment start date is March 1, 2013.
2. If any submitted documents are found to be fraudulent, the application may be cancelled.
3. Applicants will be employed under a one-year contract. After the one year period, the appointee will be evaluated for reappointment.
4. Contract Conditions
A. Salary: 28,000,000 ~32,000,000 Won per year
(Depending on teaching experience and qualifications)
B. Housing allowance ( 500,000 Won )
C. Up to 12~18 hours weekly
D. Overtime possible (29,000 won per hour)
E. At least 6-8 weeks of paid vacation per year
F. Health Insurance, Teachers Pension, support for research work
5. Directions
