English Language Teacher Needed in Penang, Malaysia

We are expanding and need new teachers to start by 1 January 2013.
Essential requirements are:
„Ï Native English speaker
„Ï University Graduate
„Ï CELTA or Trinity College London CertTESOL or equivalent
„Ï Language teaching experience of at least 1 year full-time
„Ï Able to teach all proficiency levels and ages, especially children
„Ï Willing to teach on Saturdays and Sundays
Please note that we will only consider applicants who meet all 6 criteria. The ability to teach primary age children from 7 years upwards is especially important for both posts.
Our main English Language Centre is located in a modern sea-side marina development on the lovely tropical island of Penang, Malaysia. We have also just opened a new branch centre on the mainland immediately opposite the island. In both of them we provide high-quality English language courses in spacious, well-equipped classrooms using interactive student-centred teaching methods. Our courses cover all ages and levels from age 4 years to adults, but there is especially strong demand from pre-school and primary students.
Most of our students are part-time, studying with us for 2 - 4 hours per week. This means that teaching schedules have to fit around school and work times with many classes being held at weekends and in the evenings. Nonetheless we do guarantee all teachers two consecutive rest days each week, usually on Mondays and Tuesdays. We are a progressive employer offering a professionally supportive environment and an internationally competitive pay and benefits package including health insurance and pension premiums. Assistance with relocation costs may be available for staff recruited from outside Malaysia.
The delightful Straits Quay marina-mall on Penang Island has attractive bars, restaurants and high-end boutiques. The surrounding neighbourhoods are largely residential and offer many types of accommodation to rent on long or short leases. The branch centre on the mainland is near to the sea, local facilities and main residential areas. Commuting to both centres is easy but you will need your own transport unless you live near one of the main bus routes.
